After witnessing the destruction of Earth from a deserted spacecraft he has no memory of boarding, Noah Kaplan wanders its silent corridors in search of answers, and the unseen presence he feels watching him. As he traverses the vessel, Noah fills his only possession, a journal, with sketches and memories of humanity, turning his days as the sole surviving Earthling into The Last Book, an improvised graphic novel shaped by the drawings and reflections of an artist struggling to hold on to what it means to be human, and to preserve the fragile essence of an entire civilization.
